This beautiful forties piece is made of a lightweight damask silk that features a delicate floral pattern in its weave. The offwhite or ivory dress is decorated with floral beading on the right side of the crossover bust.

The V-shaped waist and long sleeves complete the seventies style of this piece. A dreamy and ethereal piece that could be worn to formal events or dressed down for brunch.

A long skirt, gathered at the waist, creates movement when you walk. Fastened with two press studs at the side.

The dress has a half belt at the back, and the previous owner appears to have moved the press studs to reduce the waist to approximately 26 inches. There's plenty of room to move the press studs back to 28 inches.
